Patch 14.6 PBE Preview

It’s that time again! Patch 14.6 is on its way, bringing exciting new changes to the game. Let’s take a look at what’s in store.

New Cosmetics

The High Noon skinline is making a comeback with four new skins: High Noon Evelynn, High Noon Gragas, High Noon Rell, and High Noon Yone. Each skin can be purchased for RP and comes with several chroma options. Additionally, Prestige High Noon Evelynn can be obtained through the Event Pass, and Peacemaker High Noon Yone can be obtained by purchasing High Noon Milestone Capsules. A special mention goes to Crystalis Indomitus Kha’Zix, which can be crafted using Mythic Essence.

Game Changes

The Co-Op vs. AI game mode is receiving several updates. You’ll now have the opportunity to face off against a wider variety of AI champions, including Akali, Aphelios, Gwen, and many more. One of the bots will now take on the role of a jungler, leading to more dynamic gameplay. Bots can also group together to take down epic monsters. These changes are sure to make for more thrilling and challenging matches.

Champion Changes

Let’s dive into the buffs, nerfs, and adjustments being made to some of our favorite champions.

Several top laners will receive buffs in this patch. Tryndamere’s attack speed growth will be slightly increased, while Shen’s Ki Barrier will have adjusted scaling, allowing him to have a shield more often. Cho’Gath, Sion, and Diana are also getting some love with changes to their abilities, making them more effective in their respective roles.

On the other hand, some champions will face adjustments to balance their power. Smolder, Gragas, Senna, and Volibear will see some changes that aim to bring them in line with other champions. While these adjustments may impact their performance, they are necessary for a healthy and fair gameplay experience.

Kayn and Galio will undergo adjustments to fine-tune their gameplay. These changes are designed to encourage specific build paths and make the champions more viable in their intended roles.

Item Changes

There are also some exciting updates coming to items in Patch 14.6.

Infinity Edge, Navori Quickblades, Lord Dominik’s Regards, and Mortal Reminder are getting some much-needed buffs. These changes will improve their effectiveness and give ADCs more options when building their item sets.

Solstice Sleigh and Support Item Income will receive slight nerfs to ensure a balanced gameplay experience. While these changes may have an impact, they are necessary for maintaining fair and competitive matches.

Doran’s Items and World Atlas will undergo adjustments to prevent off-roles from utilizing items that are meant for specific positions. These changes will ensure that champions and roles stay balanced and true to their intended gameplay.

Monster Changes

Voidgrubs will become slightly easier to handle for top laners. They will no longer gain a shield when a fellow grub dies, making it more manageable for solo laners.

ARAM Changes

In the Howling Abyss, Janna and Ziggs will see some changes. Janna’s Howling Gale will have a slightly longer cooldown, and Ziggs’ structure damage will be significantly reduced. These changes will help create a more balanced and enjoyable experience in ARAM matches.

TFT Changes

TFT’s eleventh set, Inkborn Fables, is set to debut soon. This set will feature a blend of various styles and aesthetics inspired by mythology and nature. With sixty champions, including two new exclusive champions – Alune and Kobuko – this new set promises to bring a fresh and exciting experience to TFT players.
