Early Gaming Memories
I have fond memories of playing games, like “One on One: Dr. J vs. Larry Bird,” with my brother. However, my earliest gaming experiences involved sneaking into my brothers’ room while they were at school and setting up the NES. Without any formal instructions, I learned to play by holding the controller upside down. Yes, I admit, I was quite an adventurous child. This unusual habit persisted until the PlayStation era, and who knows, maybe one day I’ll challenge myself to play that way again.
Falling in Love with RPGs

It was during the SNES era that I discovered my true gaming passion: RPGs. I owe this fondness to my late grandfather, with whom I would sit and play these games. Our favorite was “Secret of Mana,” and to this day, the scene where the main character gets banished from Potos Village brings a tear to my eye. What I truly adore about RPGs is the attachment I feel to the characters and how they evolve throughout the journey. Additionally, I value well-crafted storytelling, especially when it surprises me with unexpected twists. That’s why the “Suikoden” series holds a special place in my heart. Few other series have managed to blindside me with betrayal quite like it.
Some other notable RPGs that I hold dear include “Shadow Hearts: Covenant,” “Xenosaga,” “Kingdom Hearts,” “Persona 3,” “Earthbound,” “Alundra,” “Mass Effect,” and “Dragon Age.” Of course, my love for gaming extends to other genres as well. You might even catch me getting spooked by a Survival Horror game, competing fiercely in EA’s NHL series, or immersing myself in a captivating graphic adventure. Seriously, Capcom, when will Pearl from the Ace Attorney series get her own spin-off?!
Embracing the Magic of Games
In joining the team at Wqaindia, my goal is to bring you captivating stories that go beyond the usual gaming narratives. There is something truly magical about the experience of playing games, and I am determined to highlight the positive impact they have on our lives. Each time we embark on a new gaming journey, we are met with endless possibilities that leave a lasting impression. It’s no wonder we come together in communities like this one to discuss and analyze the impact of these experiences. Isn’t that simply awesome?
